About Us
TK Mission was founded in 2021 by women and a benefactor who were freed from their own personal abuse and addiction by the love of God. As a result of this surrender, they learned to love themselves and it became their hearts desire to help other women do the same.
TK Mission is formally named Talitha Koum.
TK Mission exists to help women arise out of their pains
and struggles by providing them a safe place to heal
"Holding her hand, he said to her "Talitha Koum", which means "little girl arise".
Mark 5:41

After struggling in addiction and broken relationships for decades, I finally surrendered. It was only then that I felt the power of surrendering my will for His. At that moment God began to weave together all the hurts and habits I clung onto, into His masterpiece of helping other women heal. In 2014, I opened sober living houses after my own personal sobriety became reality. It was there that God planted seeds of helping others. He healed my broken heart tattered from self abuse into a beautiful dwelling place of His Spirit. He has led me to this Mission where I can freely speak of all the work He has done in me that I believe He can do for so many more women. It is my hearts desire to show women a different life. A life free from abuse and addiction. A life full of purpose, love and peace. The life that God always planned for them and who they are in Him. TK Mission exists because of broken women who care enough to show others that Love Heals.

I spent years living in cycles of destruction and despair. I clung to various addictions to cope and survive, but I was slowly dying inside. It wasn’t until I was completely broken that I decided to get sober one last time. God divinely placed a spiritual mentor in my path, and she changed the trajectory of my life. Looking back, I see that God leaves the 99 to find the lost one. When I finally surrendered and gave my life to God, I began to find freedom and healing. That was made possible because I had a safe and healing environment to recover in. By the grace and reckless love of God, I am sober and free today. In this journey, God has planted seeds in my heart to give back, and help other lost women find Him. I believe that women deserve the right to heal, find freedom from addiction, and pain from abuse. TK Mission is a place where women can heal, learn to love themselves, and find salvation.
